LONDON, 1885.
there are many secrets hidden in this world. most humans are too ignorant to see and or understand that the supernatural surrounds them. there are quite a few of those who do, for they have written contracts with the demon species. the demon must stick with them and protect them until whatever goal is achieved, and then the soul of that very human is devoured. the bond between demon and human varies on where the contract has been placed. the most obvious placed contract holds the strongest bond.
in the darkness lurks a young noblewoman, lady clementine tennyson, seeking to find her kidnapped sister. in order to accomplish this mission she has demanded the help of a demon, forming a contract. there are a few like her, striving to achieve goals that they can't do themselves, even if it means getting their souls devoured in the end. many say that the demons often grow attached to their humans, which is no rumor.
the story of ciel phantomhive and his demon sebastian has just begun. though ciel has yet to realize that there are people out there with intense goals just like himself.
